Need to retrieve profitability of an accepted quote

UK: Being able to retrieve the profitability for any quote in the future regardless of their status. The system in its current configuration does not allow this. For traceability this is important especially where there are various offers on the table.

Option 1: all quotes sent to customer are saved in a PDF format with profitability details and stored in a directory for the sub. The sub can retrieve the quote by its number.
Option 2: Store old calculations, How?
